Don has lived his whole life in Central Ohio and graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School.
“I grew up in the remodeling business. My dad was in construction his whole life and he was the textbook definition of a perfectionist. I was his helper at an early age and if what I did wasn’t perfect, he would tear it out and I would have to do it all over again. His standards were much higher than any customer’s. I guess that’s why I’m so particular about giving my customers outstanding quality in everything we do. My team will tell you, if they don’t care as much about quality and customer satisfaction as I do, they can’t work here. It’s as simple as that.”
Don is a devoted family man who enjoys spending what little spare time he has with his four children and five grandchildren. Wherever he goes, he usually has his sidekick Daisy – a small mixed-breed dog – with him.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without my loyal team. Many of my key people have been with me for 20+ years. Others have decades of great industry experience. We are truly a team in every sense of the word. They care as much about quality work and happy customers as I do. Keeping customers happy is really the key to our success. It is not uncommon for 75% of our annual sales to be previous customers doing more projects and referrals from previous customers. We work very hard to earn the customers’ trust and we’ll never take it for granted.”
